Job Description
What you’ll do
Our care assistants are the extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting them to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, helping clients to bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet and supporting them with their medication. You’ll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes and housework.

You don’t need any social care experience to apply for this role. We’re more interested in your compassion and ability to care. You’ll need to be resilient too and willing to learn new skills and develop your knowledge as part of a close-knit team.

Facilities Assistant – NHS
Location: Nottingham
The operational Divisions and service Directorates are supported by a range of corporate services. These ensure the efficient and effective operation of our core businesses and support the delivery of our performance and regulatory functions. All corporate services staff are specialists who use their professional skills to provide services across the Trust.
Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa.
Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. Facilities Services is part of the Estates and Facilities Directorate, delivering in-house soft FM services within Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, across Nottinghamshire.
We are looking to recruit a Facilities Assistant who will provide a clean, safe environment at our Sherwood Oaks Hospital. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a high quality service, to our service users.

Two vacancies Vacancy 1. Hours will be 5 hours per day Monday and Tuesday 1 2:30 to 6pm. Not working bank holidays or weekends.
Vacancy 2. Hours will be 2.5 hours per day Monday to Friday 3:30 to 6pm. Working Bank Holidays but not weekends.
Applicants may be required to cover other units where necessary. The ability to work effectively and flexibly, both alone and as part of a team, maintaining a high standard of work will be essential.
