Computer Training Partnership (CTP)

Welcome to our web site!  CTP is an educational, non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization committed to empowering people to be self-sufficient and sending them forth with hope and a vision for their future.  

To accomplish these goals, the thirteen-week Today’s Office Program (TOP) was established to provide career development, computer and office skills training, job preparation, placement assistance and follow-up for economically disadvantaged adults.  In July 2000, CTP began serving the population of Wake County, NC with the first TOP at the Raleigh Rescue Mission funded by grants from the Microsoft Corporation and Cisco Systems.  TOP was developed as a pilot program with plans for statewide, and eventually, nationwide duplication. TOP is now run locally in two locations, Raleigh and Rocky Mount, NC. 

We are currently seeking nonprofit organizations that have a desire to offer job skills training programs in their cities.  Our goal is to build the capacity of other nonprofit organizations to impact their communities with TOP.  The Licensing Program offers the complete curriculum, training for the Instructor and the Executive Director with follow-up support to ensure success.  A two year demonstration of the Licensing program is currently underway with the support of a grant from Cisco Systems.  The first Licensee is SWIM Network, Inc. (Single Women In Mission) located in Rocky Mount, NC.  The target cities for the roll-out include Charlotte, Durham, Fayetteville, Greenville, Greensboro/High Point, Roanoke Rapids, Rocky Mount, Winston-Salem, Wilson and Wilmington.  If you are interested in licensing the Today's Office Program, please contact Linda Lutz at 919-412-6781.
